NSP 4 is an SW1 model, 600hp switcher built in 1940 by Electro Motive Corporation for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy as their number 9146.
The diesel prime mover is EMC's 567 model V-6. It features an air throttle with no notches. NSP 4 is probably one of the more original SW1s still around, complete with the as built, riveted air tanks and Pyle National headlight with a single bulb like one would find on a steam locomotive and was typical of early diesels.
