Sunday, 20July was GSRM's Annual Picnic at New Prague.
The weather was sunny, hot and humid, at least there was a stiff breeze to keep things a little cooler.
In spite of some early wind casualties to a couple of shade tents, it turned out to be a real nice summer day with about 35 people attending. Guests enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers and great pot luck side dishes and desserts,
There were games for kids and an added surprise for everyone was locomotive rides on GSRM's approximately 1/3 mile of track.
The railroad rule book defines a train as - "a locomotive or more than one locomotive coupled together, with or without cars, displaying a marker", as a "train". With markers properly displayed, Extra NSP 4 East counts as the very first train to run at GSRM.
Everyone that attended had a great time. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2015 event.
Thank you to everyone that came to today's event.
